Fundraising
Moneys fundraised through dance recitals and fundraising ventures are put toward dance equipment for today and future generations of dancers. All equipment bought using fundraising funds remains with the Craik School of Dance committee for as long as there is dance in Craik, SK.
"Amber began dancing at the Watrous school of dance in kindergarten and continued for several years in tap, jazz, and ballet. She has been dancing in Imperial since the opening of the Imperial School of Dance and had continued until this year. During the 2003/2004 school year she taught two young beginning groups tap and ballet with the Imperial Club. Over the last few years she has danced with both Class Act Performing Arts Studio and Dance Plus School of Dance in Regina. In this, her grade 12 year, she is tap dancing with a group of 8 at Dance Plus Regina, specializing in Soft-Shoe. This group has been to 3 competitions over the last few weeks at the Performing Arts Center and Gotta Dance at the Peacock auditorium in Moose Jaw where they have won 3 awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. She will be performing this award winning soft-shoe group dance for us as a solo entitled 'LOVE'."
